Walking up to the bright green and white "Avocado" food truck, the delicious aromas of Venezuelan cuisine immediately greet you. Located in the heart of the city, this vibrant food truck serves up an array of traditional dishes with a modern twist, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists. One of the standout dishes is the "Pabellón Criollo", a beautifully composed plate featuring shredded beef, black beans, fried plantains, and a perfect scoop of rice, all topped with a slice of creamy avocado. Each bite is a delightful exploration of flavors and textures, showcasing the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients. Another popular choice is their array of arepas, with the "Reina Pepiada" taking the crown. Stuffed with a hearty mix of chicken salad and avocado, the arepa is cooked to golden perfection, offering a crisp exterior and a soft, flavorful interior. The service at Avocado is as warm and inviting as the food. The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and is more than happy to explain the dishes and offer recommendations. Overall, "Avocado" delivers a delicious and genuine taste of Venezuelan culinary tradition, with each dish reflecting the passion and dedication of its creators. Whether you’re a seasoned lover of Venezuelan food or a curious foodie looking to try something new, this food truck is an excellent choice for an unforgettable meal.

Amazing food. Two different experiences. First time I went with my wife and we asked for empanadas to go. They were amazing! And costumer service from the grown woman at the cashier and the chef was great! Second time I went to eat, I did with my whole family. Food was amazing like first time but no place to sit and eat, and costumer service from young lady at the cashier was disappointed.

I am fully English speaker but I also know and understand a bit of Spanish and a few other languages. I came here with my French speaking friends without knowing this place was fully Spanish speaking and written. I started ordering when the woman who was helping me started speaking Spanish and i realized i would also have to pull out my speaking skills which is much worse than my understanding of Spanish. Luckily i was able to understand and speak enough to successfully order and pay. Her patience and interest in my Spanish was very welcoming and made my day. The food was fresh and very very good I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

This truck was recommended by a Venuzuelan waiter at another restaurant. I ordered the picahna bowl, my mom and sister ordered shredded chicken arepas, and my dad and brother got chicken bowls. The food took a little while to come out (around 30 minutes for the 5 of us). The picahna bowl was very satiating and tasty. It had picahna as a meat and some corn flour bread with cheese with it. I also enjoyed the spicy chimichurri. The chicken bowl also seemed good. The arepas were only $6 each and both my mother and sister could hardly finish it because it was filling. The staff gave us a baked good that had cheese and guava in it, it was also good. Overall, I think the bowls are relatively expensive, but the rest of the menu is completely worth the price. If you want to try something new, check this place out.
